Bangkok: IX (of XII) Possible Compositions • 2013 • Black & White Photographs
Consists of 12 photographs. Of these, 9 are displayed and 3 are hidden. These 12 images of the same patch of surface of a river were taken one after the other, using up a single roll of medium-format film. This process speaks to the choices made in the production of photographs; the audience wonders where the other three are and why the photographer chose these nine. The act of excluding the three informs the visible nine.
